Verify a Certificall PDF
Why verify a PDF?
Every document generated by Certificall is a signed, timestamped PDF/A that guarantees the authenticity and integrity of the evidence it contains. To make sure a PDF was indeed created by Certificall and has not been altered since it was issued, you can submit it to our online verification tool.
How to verify a document
- Go to the verification page: https://www.certificall.app/verifier-son-token/
- Drop the PDF you want to check into the dedicated area.
- Click the "Verify the file" button.
Our system then analyses the document to ensure its integrity.
Verification result
Once the analysis is complete, a message is displayed to tell you whether the document was indeed issued by Certificall:
- Authentic document: the PDF was created by Certificall and has not been modified since it was issued.
- Unrecognised or altered document: the PDF was not issued by Certificall, or its content was modified after it was created.
Good to know
- Verification does not modify your document: the uploaded PDF remains intact.
- Only PDFs generated by Certificall can be recognised as authentic.
- Any change, even a minor one, made to the PDF after its issuance is detected by the verification tool.
