Report Identifier

ReportId Documentation in Certificall

Introduction to ReportId

In Certificall, the reportId is a key element that allows associating multiple certificates with a single report. This feature is particularly useful for administrators who want to efficiently group and manage various certificates under a common identifier.

Purpose of the ReportId

  1. Certificate Association: The reportId allows grouping multiple certificates related to the same context or event under a single identifier. This facilitates the organization and review of related certificates.

  2. Easy Search: With the reportId, administrators can quickly find all certificates associated with a specific report, optimizing document management and database searches.

  3. Administrative Simplification: By allowing the association of multiple certificates with the same reportId, administrators benefit from a notable simplification of folder management.

How ReportId Works

  • Creation: When creating or updating a certificate in Certificall, users have the option to assign a reportId to that certificate. This assignment is optional but strongly recommended for better organization.

  • Access via Entry Modes: The reportId can be entered through different application access modes, including via a direct link (deeplink) or from the step listing page in the application.

  • Caching: To improve user experience, a reportId caching feature is available. This allows retaining the reportId even after closing the application, avoiding the need to re-enter it each time a new report is created.
